Interdependent Health is a portal for deepening understanding of the world we live in by recognizing the intimate connection between mind, body, community, and environment.

Rather than a unified theory of everything, it is a lens through which we can explore our world and find inspiration to engage fully with kindness, curiosity, intention, and joy.

To flourish, we rely on 4 interdependent systems of health

A venn diagram with overlapping circles labeled mind, body, community, environment.

  • Without environmental health—clean air and water, nutrient-rich soil, etc.—our physical health suffers.
  • Physical health supports social health: when we feel good physically, we can support one another.
  • Conversely, when our social structures are set up in overly draining and pressured ways, physical and mental health suffer as a result.

The nourishment and engagement of each system is crucial to the health of all beings and the earth itself.
